Escaping the Storm by alahay Escaping the Storm by alahay
Shot in Sintra, Portugal

This is evidence to how small man is compared to nature just as a grain of sand compared to man.

Ooh this is cool! I love how the landscape is huge and the people are tiny in frame, very epic!

Thanks a lot, I agree it's as if we are dwarfed by nature!

It's really a grand feeling that is so readily passed by for a close up or an easier to get angle. :)

Really, really, really nice :D
People are small, you can see that, and you can feel it.
I can also smell the ocean and hear the waves and the sand.
Beautiful :)

This is a lovely piece!

I especially like the overall tone and how we can almost feel what the people are feeling, too. There's a light mist which makes the atmosphere quite profound and I think the colours work together very well, too.

The wideness is pretty interesting, too. I think the perspective is great in that sense, as it shows the people as quite small, like.

Cool stuff. :)

Thank you very much!

I can almost feel what you are feeling about the people's feelings :)

The mist mystifies it and the small people definitely have their role in there. I had a couple of shot without people that did not feel as good :)
