This is... just so stunningly beautiful. I love the angle, and the color. The darks are so dark against the snow- I.... think it's snow. The surreal nature of it is arresting. If there were a print of this, I might have to spring for it.
I feel as if there could be more to separate the nature/buildings from the sky... It would make a greater impact for me, but it's quite interesting how much the colours complement each other, nevertheless.
The location itself is quite cool. I like how the leaves and branches seem to take up the majority of the frame, emphasising the scale of it, which is a bit scary, depending on how perspectives go.
The top could do with a slight crop perhaps, but other than that, cool stuff.
Thanks a lot, I like how the branch connects seamlessly to the farther tree. I agree with the separation which could have slightly been enhanced perhaps with a sharper contrast. However, infrared could lighter what is dark and vice versa so I still never know what to expect
May be you should try some red and blue channel changes. You can find Tutorials about editing qualified infrared photos in the r72 tutorial gallery folder -->> [link] and in Gilad's journal -->> [link] .
Hey, thanks a lot for the excellent resources. Regardless, I am not sure if the WB is standardized for IR photography and how acceptable/qualified this pink/purple hue is since I have seen it before and I find it interesting. However, I am new to IR, and your comment came in great timing and I am looking forward to some more insights from you
